Legalheartbeat provides persons to make live help available to you to address problems you have. Our reception desk is staffed by our competent, capable and conscientious receptionist. Legaloncall is staffed by our on call lawyer.
Communication is provided from our reception desk/Legaloncall by way of e-mail, live chat and skype. As a result of our engagement of personnel to service this facility, we are advancing to providing the service, 24/7/365. As the process is set up, we will be covering extensive hours and before long the full coverage will be in place.
There is no charge to you for reception attendance on you. The period of attention is limited to 6 minutes and our receptionist might be required during those 6 minutes. to attend to other calls, given that the ongoing reception duties continue. During the course of a reception service attendance, our receptionist is authorized to do [and only to do] the following:
Take your details and have someone contact you back from one of the Law Departments within 2 working days (not Saturday or Sunday).
Give you the Law Department e-mail address.
Make an appointment for you with a particular section of the Law Department for a time, not less than 4 days ahead, or
Refer you to Legaloncall.
Please note, if you are not an existing client with existing payment processes in place, a payment of US$30 in advance, is required for a consultation with legal online, and prepayment for each subsequent 30 minutes. This is to be arranged, completed and funds cleared before the referral to Legaloncall. (There are no adjustments or refunds. The US$30 is for half an hour or part thereof, unadjusted).
Further, before the receptionist proceeds to deal with your request and processes the transfer of your communication to Legaloncall, the receptionist will confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions contained in these writing and that the terms and conditions are part of the agreement for which you are paying.

LEGAL ON CALL
Our Legaloncall facility is not a complete legal service. It is at special and qualified service offered for people with urgent needs or for existing clients as a support service as an adjunct to the provision of legal services in the context of a solicitor client relationship. Legaloncall is not a service delivery in the solicitor client relationship. Particularly in that respect, Legaloncall communication is provided conditionally:
That you have read these terms and conditions and that you proceed on the basis that there is absolutely no liability in any event for information provided.
That the intention to provide this impromptu and urgent help is to attempt to preserve the status quo until more appropriate and more complete legal services can be provided.
That any assistance or information provided is not legal advice.
That as a result of the qualified nature of any help given, no comprehensive exploration of fact, background and detail is taken and Legaloncall proceeds on the basis of the client’s request and comments.
That the communication is verbal and not to be recorded nor any recording relied upon other than as set out herein.
The maximum time allocation for any Legaloncall support is 1 hour.
It is a specific term of any contract for the provision of Legaloncall, that if reliance is to be placed on the information before further legal consultation occurs in the context of a complete legal service, the client will so advise during the Legaloncall conversation.
Usually, Legaloncall will not be interrupted. You get the attention of our on call lawyer and that attention is dedicated to you. Exceptions will be rare and the Legaloncall service will give you your full time allocation exclusive of interruptions.
Our reception services all incoming calls so it is simply not possible for our receptionist to give you complete attention. It is the responsibility of the receptionist to address and deal with all customer inquiries as they come in. We ask you to be prompt with our receptionist and to accept the fact that the receptionist’s duty is to cover all incoming calls.
